Changan International Digital and Intelligent Industrial Park groundbreaking ceremony

Today, the groundbreaking ceremony for Changan International Digital Intelligence Industrial Park was held with great pomp in Yueqing Economic Development Zone. Simultaneously, Yueqing Zero-Carbon Digital Transformation Demonstration Base was inaugurated and officially launched in the park. Nearly 200 attendees gathered at the event to witness this landmark milestone.

Spanning 81.7 mu (approximately 5.4 hectares), the Changan International Digital and Intelligent Industrial Park features a total floor area exceeding 280,000 square meters and a 19,000-square-meter underground parking facility. Through intensive development, three-dimensional planning, and full industrial chain empowerment, the park will establish an integrated industrial ecosystem where' upstream and downstream industries are seamlessly connected, 'injecting new momentum into the region's high-quality economic growth.

This project, as a technology complex integrating new energy, intelligent manufacturing, and international trade, will center on the 'space revolution' and tackle the dual challenges of land scarcity and industrial upgrading through innovative measures like vertical factory models and shared technology platforms.

"Changan Group originated in Liushi, which, as the 'Capital of China Electrical Appliances,' serves as the main base of Yueqing's billion-yuan-level electrical industry cluster. It has consistently adhered to the principle of' digital and intelligent empowerment 'as a driving force for high-quality manufacturing development, leading the construction of a modern industrial system through technological innovation, promoting industrial upgrading, economic growth, and strength enhancement," said Chen Peng, member of the Standing Committee of the Yueqing Municipal Party Committee and Secretary of Liushi Town. The Changan International Digital and Intelligent Industrial Park is not only a demonstration project for the renovation of old factories across the city but also an important platform for connecting innovation chains and assisting industrial upgrading, sounding the charge to 'seize new opportunities and gallop on new tracks.

As a flagship pilot project for urban renewal in Yueqing City, the industrial park is built to high standards with premium infrastructure, prioritizing key industries like electrical engineering, electronics, new energy, and advanced equipment manufacturing. It serves as a multifunctional hub integrating R&D, smart manufacturing, warehousing, logistics, and product exhibition. The park's innovative spatial design stands out: a groundbreaking underground parking system costing nearly 100 million yuan allows 10-ton trucks direct access to freight elevators and barrier-free access to all floors, effectively addressing logistics challenges in high-rise factory buildings.

"The park's design draws inspiration from the mythical' Kunpeng spreading its wings, 'symbolizing our vision of' hiding potential when dormant and soaring to new heights when active, '" explained Dr. Bao Xiaojiao, Chairman of Chang' an Group. In terms of operational model, Chang 'an International Digital and Intelligent Industrial Park will integrate professional digital and intelligent platforms, transforming specialized functions like testing, conferences, exhibitions, and business operations into solid support for corporate development. With an efficient logistics network at its core, the park leverages direct elevator access to workshops and the' 30-minute economic zone' transportation advantage to effectively reduce operational costs and enhance production efficiency for enterprises.

The event also featured the strategic cooperation ceremony titled "Zero-Carbon Digital Intelligence New Engine: Industry-University-Research-Application Community" between Yueqing New Energy Industry Federation, New Energy Innovation Consortium, and Chang 'an International Digital Intelligence Industrial Park. Simultaneously, the Yueqing Zero-Carbon Digital Intelligence Transformation Demonstration Base was inaugurated. This base will seamlessly integrate cutting-edge research with industrial needs, serving as the core engine to propel Yueqing's strategic leap from "electrical manufacturing" to "digital intelligence innovation" and "green intelligent manufacturing".

Amid soaring colored smoke and synchronized machinery, the groundbreaking ceremony concluded with great fanfare. This landmark event not only demonstrated the resolute commitment to government-enterprise collaborative innovation, but also showcased the dynamic vitality of industrial upgrading in the Yangtze River Delta region.
